Accustomed as we are to the CBS lineup, had it not been for a weird college basketball tournament, the Wife and I would have continued to be lulled to sleep by the dulcet tones and dry wit of David Letterman. Like a giddy adolescent, I occasionally suffer through until the true comedy genius of [...] I have been remiss in not pointing out if George Jones and Jimmie Dale Gilmore had a love child, it might sound a little like this. Tom Beardslee‘s slide guitar magic was great, but journeyman accordion provides a nice cajun feel.
