It appears that a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy from the 145th Airlift Wing of the NC Air National Guard in Charlotte spent the day doing touch and goes at PTI. It has buzzed the house at 500 feet all afternoon with gear down. Major cool.

The house I lived in as a 1st grader was at the end a runway of the air base where Dad worked. We had a big, oh bout 4 ft X 6 ft, picture window that I used to expect to break cause it shook so badly when that runway was used.
The Wife has a relative in Connecticut. We visited one summer and they had these things flying over the farm, but at a couple of thousand feet. At min alt, it’s a monster.
That thing came over my house too. I thought it was a C141 at the time though.
It may well have been.
