Man, that was nasty. I’ve had to jettison my old WP database. There at the end I was seeing all kinds of weird stuff. But I’m clean as a baby’s butt, now.
No, that’s smooth. Clean as the driven snow. No, that’s pure. You get the idea.
I can restore my old posts to here, but they’re mostly balderdash. If there’s something you just can’t live without, let me know and I’ll retrieve it.
stick & move, stick & move…
If I could just get these arrows out of my back.
Fec if you bring over nothing else bring over your Stenchville stories. Actually I never thought your posts were balderdash. Although there were some I simply didn’t understand, but they mostly referred to movies (I don’t watch movies made after 1965 because I will not tolerate the language) and music (though my age group ushered in Rock my music was that of the 30′s and 40′s when as a toddler I went from musician to musician as my father’s dance band rehearsed in our living room). Oh dear, here I go again using ten words when one would do! Dear Fec, bring all your posts over!
Thanks. I have lots of backups.
Definitely bring back the Stenchville posts. You know I’m a fan of your blogging, and would love to see the complete archives restored, but that hometown stuff is special.
Thanks. It’s been all assholes and elbows here since the year started. The Wife’s purchased a new computer and software for her new store. The weather’s been so nice that I’ve been painting outside. And my sinuses are swollen so I can’t think.
I’m reluctant to restore all the archives, as the source of my problems lies somewhere within. I think I’ll do a selective restore of the good stuff when I get time.
Bring back what you can. I’d be grateful for any and all.
That said, you have got to be, from a technological standpoint, the worst-snakebitten blogger I’ve ever heard of. Maybe it’s time to sacrifice a chicken or something.
Isn’t it glorious? It was a combo of fancy themes and spam. I was trying to display the functionality of WP blogs, but I’ve achieved the converse.
I’ll continue to peruse the archives and bring some stuff back, thematically.
The bottom line is managing your own blog is not for amateurs.
