Keith Brown has Marty Kotis‘ lawsuit against Roy Carroll and the City at Triad Watch.

Roch101 has good context and the court docs on display.

Here’s a pic from the Guilford County GIS Data Viewer.

The Kotis (pink) property is east of Jessup Grove Road and contains the pond. Carroll (blue) owns the three parcels to the north. The property south of Jessup Grove Road to the west of Horsepen Creek Rd is Proehlific Park. Greensboro Country Club owns the property to the north.

To the casual observer it would seem Kotis screwed up by not agreeing to share the cost for the additional 700′ of road.

Carroll paid $1.5M for his dozen acres in August 2008. Kotis appears to have owned his 35 acres since 1981.
